Questions clients ask before starting
The practical details, up front. Anything else, just ask us and you'll get a straight answer.
How quickly can you actually start?
It depends on the experience level and specialism you need, often a few weeks, and up to a month or more for highly experienced or specialist roles. But you're not left waiting: a founder can begin reviewing and improving your testing almost immediately, so you're covered from day one while we place the right dedicated engineer.
How does pricing work?
We quote per engagement based on your scope and the hours you need. It's a clear hourly rate with no recruiter fees, no setup costs and no hidden overhead. Tell us what you're building and we'll send a transparent quote within one business day.
Am I locked into a long contract?
No. Engagements are flexible and monthly rolling. Scale up for a release, scale back down afterwards, or pause on a month's notice. You stay in control, and we earn the renewal by delivering.
How do you make sure the engineer is any good?
We only place experienced, vetted QA engineers, never juniors learning on your product. Just as importantly, a founder-level QA engineer oversees and reviews the work on every engagement, so quality doesn't rest on one person and standards stay consistent.
What if the fit isn't right?
Because a founder is involved from day one, problems surface early, not months later. If an engineer isn't the right match, we adjust or replace them quickly from our network. You're never stuck with a hire that isn't working.
Who owns the work, and is my data safe?
You do. All work and intellectual property are assigned to you, and we sign an NDA and treat your product and data as confidential as standard. Access is limited to what's needed to do the testing.
Which tools and technologies do you cover?
Automation with Playwright, Selenium and Cypress; API, performance and mobile testing; and quality gates wired into your CI/CD pipeline. We match the specialism and toolset to your stack rather than forcing you onto ours.
